# Reconstruction prompt pack

These prompts propose a new learning build. They are not original build history and have not been executed or learner-tested. Use the images linked in SOURCES.md. No original model is required.

## Fresh-chat starter

```text
I want to learn Blender by constructing a similar Planet Express fan spaceship from rendered images only. Reference gallery: https://github.com/nikbearbrown/csye-7270-building-virtual-environments/tree/728fd035fa862ff5f34f4dcef096df5c31dd7b0d/blender/planet-express-stl-codex
Download or ask me to attach hero.png, port.png, front.png, rear.png, top.png, turret.png and engine.png from the renders folder. If browsing is unavailable, wait for those images; do not invent their contents. Do not import the original model or STL parts. Treat visible appearance as evidence and hidden structure as assumptions. Use X lateral, Y length, Z up; propose a 10-unit overall working length, not a physical measurement. First identify the major forms and uncertain proportions. Then help me build one checkpoint at a time with named editable objects, manual Blender instructions and a small script only if useful. Explain what each operation teaches. If you can control Blender, state the installed version and show the actual result; otherwise provide a script for Blender's Scripting workspace and say it has not been run. Stop at each checkpoint for front, side and quarter comparisons. Do not call a successful script an accurate likeness. Save numbered scene versions and preserve earlier work.
```

## 1. Reference reading

Manual/agent operation: List the hull, vertical and horizontal fins, cockpit, turret, engine and repeated details. Separate observed from inferred features.

```text
Success check: Seven files identified; no hidden dimensions asserted.
Stop for comparison before adding the next level of detail.
```

If the check fails:

## Documentation checked

- [Mirror modifier](https://docs.blender.org/manual/en/5.0/modeling/modifiers/generate/mirror.html): local axes, object origin, optional mirror object.
- [Screw modifier](https://docs.blender.org/manual/en/4.1/modeling/modifiers/generate/screw.html): profile, angle, axis and axial offset.

These support the modeling principles. UI placement can differ with the learner's installed version; ask the agent to identify that version rather than inventing menu paths. No exact key-binding sequence or runnable code is asserted tested here.
